just saw this movie. must find time to read the script. It was “Shane” on wheels and made me think that most action movies set in LA are really just westerns with cars, substituting the anonymous streets for desert landscapes and cloudless vistas with aerial footage of Soutland nights. But on the other hand, Ryan Gosling’s performance was striking and interesting and mysterious....
